As Indonesian genuine product, Achilles manufactured by PT Multistrada Arah Sarana Tbk, proudly support the initiative of Ministry of Tourism (Kemenpar) to promote “Wonderful Indonesia” brand. Achilles collaborates with Kemenpar through co-branding with Wonderful Indonesia brand.
On Thursday, 8 August 2017, the co-branding partnership was officially commenced upon the MoU signing by both parties. This partnership intends to increase brand contribution in promoting tourism in Indonesia. Other than Achilles, there are 27 other brands that also signed this MoU.
These brands come from different category such as FMCG, Hotel, Online commerce, Media, Tour and Travel, Telecommunication, Banking up to Manufacturing.
Tourism Minister, Arief Yahya, who officiate the MoU signing in Sapta Pesona Building, Ministry of Tourism, conveyed his gratitude to the participating brands in the co-branding with Wonderful Indonesia. According to him, the joint promotion through this co-branding will strengthen the spirit Indonesia Incorporate.
Victor Colondam as Marketing Director of Achilles, representing Achilles in signing this MoU, said also that, “This is a potential partnership. Taking into consideration the target of Tourism Ministry to get 20 million foreign tourists to come to Indonesia in 2019, makes Achilles also encouraged to collaborate through this co-branding. Hopefully, we will support each other in the future and mutually beneficial for both brands, Achilles dan Wonderful Indonesia, becoming stronger in international arena”
Achilles as the selected brand is enthusiastic with this partnership, since there is only 100 brands selected to participate in co-branding with Wonderful Indonesia. As the car tire already exported to more than 103 countries worldwide, there is big expectation that this can improve the interest of international market towards Achilles.
