Paris Saint-Germain and the Club’s Official Tire Sponsor, Achilles Radial, joined forces in L.A, in their first activation since the announcement of their partnership, to combine the finesse of football and the precision of drifting in an incredible film experience.

2013 Formula DRIFT Champion, Michael Essa, piloted his Achilles Radial drift car around Paris Saint-Germain players Lucas, Adrien Rabiot and Grzegorz Krychowiak to setup a play on a very unique goal.

Essa started off the play by “kicking” the ball to the trio of Paris Saint-Germian midfielders, who then showed off their ball-handling skills and eventually sinking the ball into a tower of Achilles Radial 123S drift tires.  Wherever the players kicked the ball determined the vehicle’s path, redirecting the legendary driver to create donuts and figure-eights in an elegant yet dynamic marriage between two of the world’s most precise sports.

The activation took place during Paris Saint-Germain’s US Summer Tour, and the content was filmed with the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop, providing a uniquely Californian setting.
